I’d be curious what the total numbers are after the season finishes airing completely, and how many views those take into account a few days after the episode dropped. Not to mention all the people that just wait until it drops on Netflix.

Peoples’ viewing habits have changed so drastically in the decade since BB finished.

That being said, BCS is definitely not at the level of popularity as BB. I just don’t think those graphs are anywhere close to apples to apples.

Shows nowhere near as popular as BB was. But it's miles ahead better when it comes to quality.

No, it's not. There's a reason why Breaking Bad is widely heralded as the best television series of all time... There's an argument to be made for BCS being as good, but "miles ahead"? Nahhhh

tbf BB was happening during that peak golden age era of TV (true detective s1, the good szns of GOT), when everyone was tuning in week to week for the live episodes

BCS is great but attracts a different kinda audience than BB & is more niche in some ways. plus I think the fact that it’s a prequel might hurt it in some ways, with BB everyone was like “how’s it gonna end ”
but some people ik see themselves as already knowing the outcome of BCS due to it being a prequel; Gus & Mike live, Jimmy gets corrupted, etc. so that might factor into the lack of numbers the show is doing, it’s still a shame tho

like they said Cable dying affects this too

idk I too think bcs is way ahead of bb in terms of cinematography, writing, and some performances. bb gave us a s***ton of memes tho so its goated for that. I never run thru the whole show though, its kinda tough to get through it on rewatch

Bcs cinematography and wtiting are on another level. All episodes this season its like theyre just flexing their cinematography in every shot. That shot of the camera mounted on the garage door leading up to mike getting out was insane lol
