Once I heard “anybody home?” I knew it was over
I mean they obviously saw him screeching and shuffling in their rear view mirror long before he leaped into the dumpster lmfao
On first run through ep7 still has to be my favorite this season
Plan and Execution is my fav BB/BCS episode period
Saul finally around people who respect him on that bus ride
Treat people nicely on your way up
BCS: A combination of toxic masculinity and acceptance of truth which is inevitably heartbreaking.
Certified Alpine Shepherd Boy
Plan and Execution is my fav BB/BCS episode period
S*** had me pacing back and forth in my room trying to figure out how things were gonna play out
Having to wait a month for ep8

Imagine if you hadn’t seen BB before and don’t know any of the character’s outcomes
ADX, where Larry Hoover is held
Need J Prince to organize a Free Goodman concert
Like Walter White, Saul Goodman doesn't deserve a happy ending, but everyone around him deserves it tho.
So this is a good ending.
The “better call Saul” bus scene was corny but atleast it establishes that Jimmy won’t have a hard time in prison
I always pictured it as his past haunting him, even after he said "McGill" they kept calling him like that

I audibly screamed when Howard got merked
s*** had me in shambles
Also the episode is just the best aspects of high stakes scamming and intense brutality of this world.
It’s perfect tbh to me
Gene getting Cinnabon for the security guards and pretending he knows sports while Jeff robs the store still got me dying. Nippy episode going to go down as a classic

Yep I don’t think most people will appreciate it until the second run through
This was an incredible watch. A lot of layers and nuance to it, possibly more than any other episode in the series.
People complaining about Jimmy giving up the deal feels a lot like the people who complained about Walt admitting he did it for himself or sparing Jesse in Felina. I think you're misunderstanding the character and projecting your mindset onto him. It didn't matter to Jimmy if it was 7 years vs. 9 years or 75 years vs. 150 years. It was to show that he can always con his way out of anything, but it always prevents him from facing his demons. He didn't just do it for Kim, he did it because he realized he could change. For so long he manipulated the law in his favor and he was finally ready to accept justice for what it saw him as.
It's also him still going out on his terms, which seems really in character for him. I'm surprised people are so mixed about this ending. The alternative of Saul conning his way out of it and getting back together with Kim seems even more Hollywood-like, and doesn't give the satisfying closure this does. The whole show was about a broken guy who scams his way out of situations and is worried he'll never truly change. How would him taking the deal make it feel like any of this was important?
couldn’t have said it better man

Yeah people were in a rush to see s*** go crazy in the first Gene episode but I’m glad they let that one breathe. When he tries to distract the security guard and ends up breaking down about having a brother and how empty his life is now is a lowkey pivotal moment. First time he flirts with the truth that we end up seeing fully in the finale
