Goddamn you hit the nail on the head

One of my favourite compositions too, so mysterious and melancholic yet pretty.

I love the parallel between their first meeting to the last, it has to be the most refreshing onscreen relationship in recent television.

Not even Jane he started being a condescending a****** even before that Walt is one of the best characters in television but man is he such a piece of s***

He don't give 2 s***s about no one except when he needs something from em, then the fake conversations come out

  • Ending was great IMO. Jimmy finally broke good

so what were the shows teased?

    any info out there?

  • Aug 17, 2022

Had work stuff all last night and earlier today, so I wasn't able to watch until now. I'm gonna go through the thread and read the posts yall made

But that was maybe the best written episode on either BB or BCS. Just absolutely beautiful in every way

“You had em down to seven years. 86 years..”

Even after everything, Kim still admired the charm and hustle of Jimmy. One last acknowledgment.

It’s insane people can come off watching Breaking Bad and not see Heisenberg for the piece of s*** he is. Dude stopped being sympathetic in the second season it’s fun to root for him at points in the show yeah but he’s in no way the alpha or whatever

I be cracking up when he starts being fake conversational to Skyler using that tired ass teacher voice to try and give his lie some weight. Like bro give it a rest

same. before watching and while i was watching the police chase i wanted saul to beat the case, beat the feds, go out with a bang and keep scamming. that being said im glad he ate the charges. amazing courtroom scene and it was cathartic to see him leave all the bs behind.

i think other plotline ideas would have been ultimately unsatisfying after the fact, unless he was truly punished by something outside of his control. but i dont know how the writers would do that. and we already have that type of ending arc in the sopranos, which is perfect for the opposite reasons (he chose NOT to change).

and as someone who has been defined by others perceptions my whole life (some thing u likely relate to if you black) it takes a lot to push past that. this inspired hope for me, that maybe we can grow as people on an individual level, even if it doesn't undo the past, and even if people will never see us any different. the music really says it all too.

F***ed over bill oakleys whole career.

Somehow had a client talk himself out of a 7 year sentence

I was so happy they brought him back, such a great character

    Wait a second

damn it just hit me that the chuck flashback is jimmys time machine moment, it was the one time chuck tried to connect with jimmy and talk about law stuff with him without an ulterior motive and jimmy turned it down, in the end all he really wanted was to make things right with his brother

    F***

This might be even more painful than the breakup scene in 6x09

Unnecessary scene altogether imo. My only complaint. That moment had already been conveyed in the scene prior.

Nah, ending on the scene prior implies they're back together in some way, as if she'll just keep visiting him and s*** for years.

Ending where we do illustrates the distance that still exists between them, and pretty much tells us that's that for them - that chapter of Kim's life is behind her, she walks away on her own terms, into her own future.

  • Aug 17, 2022

Imagine if there is a line somewhere in this series which is the launching pad for another spin-off

Looked to me like their final farewell idk I don't see her coming on the regular unless he lures her with tales of prison scams

I knew that s*** was false once I saw episode 11 tbh, the trajectory was not leading to that being the final song.

I had a saul type lawyer get me a good behavior deal on my dui

Dude had all kinda dui s and showed up to the meet with a black eye

But I'll be damned if he wasn't buddy buddy with the judge. Even had a hand shake deal with the cops who took me in to testify and gloss over all the foul stuff I said to them that night as "Nothing out of the ordinary foe someone under the influence"

And best part was he cost a third of the usual lawyer rate, which is good cuz the probation and AA stuff was ridiculously expensive, woulda been at least double had I got the dui
