bc Saul got down to 7 years by being Saul. he tells a corroborated crybaby twist version of his hand in Breaking Bad’s events (in front of Marie, like a scumbag) and scams the opposition, free to get away with it yet again. Slippin’ Jimmy, Saul, Gene, whoever - he’s done it again. but I think at this point, he’s starting to ask himself why, and what happens next.
From his early 20s conning ppl, to the Howard prank, to seeking out Walt’s business when he didn’t need to, to robbing a dude with cancer, we’ve seen this guy make the wrong choice every single time, sometimes for the right reasons, sometimes even getting rewarded for making the wrong choice. But every time after, he’s been empty. This time, Jimmy takes responsibility for everything he’s done in his life and the consequences that come with that. 7 years because of a lie wouldn’t have taught Jimmy s***. It’s what he’s always done. But owning up to it all is the first step we see in him towards genuine change since he became a lawyer before the show even started
Sounds crazy/nutty af lmao saul gonna regret that idiotic decision within a month

You don't think that change came too quick? Also it's not like Saul is responsible for Hank or Steve's deaths. The feds were tryna use him as a scapegoat since they never caught Jessie and everyone else involved is dead. I say f*** it and get the 7 years. I get what you mean though but i find it hard to believe he would give up a 7 year deal for life in prison. It was unrealistic imo

I agree it could’ve been telegraphed a little better. Dude went from busting in the room in the flashiest suit ever as Saul to quietly saying “I’m James McGill.” in the span of like 7 minutes. But overall the idea of it I got. It was beautiful, but this finale had the same task of wrapping up a completely new issue that they had doubled down on establishing in the last couple episodes as BB, and it didn’t stick the landing quite as well as Felina did imo
hey so i’m kinda fairly new to this and breaking bad stuff. has anyone from the show talker ab Gus’ sexuality? it’s so cool to me that he’s gay i love it sm the scene of him with that guy at that wine place made me so happy i wanted him to leave with the dude 😭😭😭

I think on the insider podcast they talk about it briefly

Yeah I think as people rewatch the show more and sit with the ending, it will be criticized more. Right now though everyone is eating it up and calling it a perfect ending.

Lalo referred to Gus’ friend that gets killed by Hector as his “boyfriend”. Could of just been a insult or maybe he knew Gus was gay.

Hector mentions it in every scene he's talking about or to him lol

Gus def got his back blown out regularly
I find the whole debate of realism here kinda weird tbh... have we all been watching the same world for the past 14 years?
Breaking Bad is a show that has a dude let some junkie girl die and create some goofy butterfly effect s*** where her dad goes to work - he just happens to be an air traffic controller - and then f***s up so bad a whole plane of people die.
Like, it's always been a heightened world, with tonnes of weird or goofy stuff for the sake of diving into its characters or exploring the themes at hand.
If you're someone that's worried about Jimmy giving up 7 years in prison because it's "unrealistic" but you're cool with the ridiculous s*** that was Walt basically causing a commercial airliner to go down, I dunno what to tell ya.
hot take: nippy was the best episode of this season's half
Real one Stupid underrated

masterclass of building tension, vince, peter and the producers need to link up with the safdie brothers asap
Guys, there was one scene with a girl who was picked up by drunk driving mother, was this a flashback about Kim or was it the same girl to whom HHM denied a tuition?

Yeah, also Lalo is travelling to Europe and back when I think the police and the other dudes are on him, while Jimmy after BB can't even get out from US to be more safe.

This scene? Yeah its Kim
