The system. Us. Trade. We all have our specializations, capabilities (Incapabilities for some) and abilities (inabilities). For instance a farmer and woodworker need a way to give to the other the fruits of their labors. And then you have Picasso and Lebron, we quantity their production and through monetary means give them the means to engage in trade. So then we begin a whole argument on this monetization policy. It’s seen that trying to control capital flow destroys this process and not controlling it reveals its unpredictable qualities that can be tremendously devastating. So the question is what is the most efficient means of trade or what is the most efficient way to. redistribute of goods? This is the current conundrum of the socialists and debate around the free market from a certain perspective

capital is not merely the product of our labor. it is the extracted difference between the value of the product labor and the assumed cost.

that extracted difference is captured and owned by either the worker or by the private owner. the fact that we exist in a system where capital is extracted by someone other than the workers who perform the labor means we are not in socialism. and just because it is extracted into another corner of society does not mean we are in socialism. All mechanics of economy assume the existence of social relations

your "reduction" of socialism into simpler terms simply means you have perverted its definition for the sake of feeling good about yourself.

    bro said society is socialism

  • if you’re wealthy it is

  • Nov 27, 2023

Or rather my reduction is because I do admittedly see flaws in the idealization of the idea at its inception. That is upholding its purest form and refusing to redefine it. It indeed has become like a religion to some. This extracted difference I have stated is the current means. This exploitation is tradition. You seek to eliminate things that the free market have proved to be difficult to eliminate. Even a socialist country like the Soviet Union has to deal with the market in their attempted complete control. Yes, indeed, this has led some to view the market as God. And I understand you and many have said that a socialist country hasn’t existed. I say socialism is a spectrum and much like a color wheel. You can’t deny an idea of its flaws. And maybe even you can’t escape bureaucracy and corruption

I’m sorry brother for not always being right. Can I ask though where do you derive the contempt of wrongdoers/sayers from? Is it the brain rot that self-satisfaction has bestowed upon you?

I don’t say this as a professor emeritus of economic theory. And if there is some fool that should listen to me. Well he is a fool and me being a fool too what can be expected but our marriage. And for those who hate it when fools talk. Well how would you have ever learned then? The world would be silent!

I guess my main point, that I admittedly poorly conveyed, is that from my perspective, America primarily sustains itself through social/governmental undertakings. When I say America is a socialist country, I perceive the government and its social services as the primary overload with the primary impact on day to day life. Which strays from the popular opinion of corporate control. My squabbles with others were merely squabbles, my point being being one of individual temporal perspective not necessarily declaring a truth or ascertaining a school of thought
