“At the very same time that the government refused to give the Negro any land, through an act of Congress our Government was giving away millions of acres of land in the west and the midwest, which meant it was willing to undergird its white peasants from Europe with an economic floor," Dr Martin Luther King

“ The Indian Removal Act was signed into law on May 28, 1830, by United States President Andrew Jackson. The law authorized the president to negotiate with southern Native American tribes for their removal to federal territory west of the Mississippi River in exchange for white settlement of their ancestral lands.”

There were black people amongst American Indians but not every American Indian was black

Just like a lot of other native groups had black people in them

It's a fact that is often ignored

I'm not sure about this honestly

You got any sources that say ALL of them were black before white people invaded their lands?

Native Americans are a broad group of people don't think singling em all into "black" would be right.

    I don’t think dark skin = black

That’s why it’s in quotes. Black is a color in a crayon box, not a nation or bloodline. The census misclassified melanated people as “black”, “colored”, “mullato”
