I don't think that Em necessarily forces it, he's just a rappity rap dude.. he doesn't care for the whole musical experience, but he'll always stay a rap nerd.

The Love Below is a solo album. It was just paired with Spearboxxx as an OutKast project because it would generate more sales and look what it did! Became the highest rap album of all time.
Andre has a solo album - maybe not a strictly rap solo.
So if we doing that then Big Boi still has more classics than 3k
Speakerboxx and Love Below both produced number 1 records and were both received really well

If he wants to drop music when he finds it perfect to do so that's fine. I'd rather him be happy with his work than him dropping some garbage because people kept begging him for s***, and then him getting more depressed because people dont like it
this is exactly what people do to artists
and a lot of times it aint even about the music itself its about where you were at the point in time of whatever you're comparing the new music to vs. where you are now

Viscous Lies was a great album
Boomiverse was midAlso 3k and Big Boi are inherently put against each other when fake outkast fans routinely put Andre in the top 5 and have big boi somewhere outside of it based on who knows what logic.

No it wasn't a great album. More like a mostly failed experiment with a few cool cuts, 5/10.
Why?? Bc people just find Andre's personality, voice and ideas more exciting to listen to. Do you think that Big Boi could've made the psychedelic, pop, electro, funk masterpiece that is The Love Below? Andre also HEAVILY influenced the most respected rapper of the decade (Kendrick).Y'all are trying too hard to be contrarians with this Big Boi whataboutist s***.

SLLF was critically acclaimed. Vicious Lies was received as mid. Idc about reviews tho, s*** was a letdown to me.
Andre delivered more verses that ppl found mindblowing throughout his career, OutKast or feature wise. Speakerboxx is dope but The Love Below is on another level, far more impressive and influential. Next.

Andre is more charismatic, philosophical and introspective. Big Boi is like top 20-30 material, not top 5.
