Andre's my dude but he's always been a decent at best musician.

His flute skills are serviceable but understandably not groundbreaking or free form since he's still relatively a rookie.

But his flute skills are infinitely better than his guitar skills. That guitar solo on Sixteen was so terrible it almost killed the vibe of the song lol. And his clarinet solo on "Look Ma" was like nails on a chalkboard with James Blake doing a ton of heavy lifting on the piano.

That said, I'll always give rappers props for branching out of the genre even if it's not necessarily comparable to the classics of those respective genres.

I kinda see this album as a fun and enjoyable experiment that suits his state of mind today.
