In past ACs I spent most of my time hunting rare bugs and fish to make money, obtaining rare furniture sets, paying off and upgrading my house, befriending the animals, visiting other players villages, filling up the museum etc. They seem to have even more stuff planned for horizons, like crafting and editing terrain

It’s not the type of game you play for grinding and instant gratification. It’s more something you pick up at certain times of the day and gradually get a really rewarding experience out of over time. Although its still really fun and easy to get lost in

It’s evident so much passion was poured into the game

The crafting mechanic could have been whack and gimmicky but it looks absolutely amazing

They perfectly combined the classic AC appeal with sandbox elements

The museum looks f***ing insane, the houses and furniture looks insane

can't believe I forgot about the musuem. the visuals actually look amazing; the art design and coloring and whatever looks absolutely insane
