I agree we can’t judge their friendship base on what see but this is second time he work with another author who have bad history. It’s not his first time either. This why I see him differently compare to other. I feel like he look out for other people.

I think peoples should try out niches stuff and get out their comfort zone and try have fun. They will appreciate other anime and look thing differently.

My overall opinion is that it's a nice harem, pretty typical, at first I thought the relationship between the sisters was wholesome, as time went on it became weird as f***, the most interesting parts are the dramatic ones (second half of both seasons), and here's my best girl rank:

Ichika

If the anime wants me to hate Ichika then why do she and Uesugi have the best moments? They're the only ones with chemistry? She's the only character who breaks her trope a little. She's the big sis trope but has complex feelings and questionable acts. Both wanting to protect the sisters and put her own emotions first. Also both her and the MC aren't perfect, I don't think he needs a perfect GF just a GF who "gets" him and I think she's the right one. Ideally would've been together after the warehouse scene.

Nino

At first typical (if not sadistic) tsundere but has grown the most during the anime, by the last episode you already think she's kinda cool, I would've been with her right away after she confessed but my man is not a man of culture imo. She's better with the short hair. My only complaint is that she seems to love him for no reason. She's in love with an idealized version of the MC.

Miku

The cutest one I like how she gets all red and embarrassed and that she's a more lowkey girl. I also like how she's nice to the MC and supportive to him from the beginning, just because he took the effort to get to know her and teach her using her interests. She doesn't really challenge him like the top 2 which is why she's under.

Yotsuba

She's nice and they had some nice moments together. In any other anime I would say she's a good contender just for being in all the class projects with him. But they barely had any moments together. Her ending up with him just because they met as young kids feels like a cop out. It's like his progression with the other girls didn't happen. She definitely brings the least drama though.

Itsuki

Solid 6/10
