One Piece fights genuinely the least interest part of the story to me and theyre still good. Its just everything is so much better in contrast

A lot of Naruto fights have aged really well thanks to taijutsu. Some of the industries best did they thang on those fights. Thats why it’s kinda frustrating that ppl are asking for a remake.

naruto fights are so good tho, like why cant we get those in one piece for instance. even dbz fights seem better animated than one piece fights

That’s why some of the fights are top tier to me . The technical aspect is weak but the emotional weight of the battles are so up there (besides luffy fights and like all of wano)

The remake doesn’t even look THAT much better . It’s like the last of us remake . It’s cool i guess but it doesn’t have a purpose since animation of the original is so amazing. Art style is just more modern

OP got a more power against power based system so there’s no need for the hand to hand combat. There’s also the outrageous height differences like Kaido being 23 feet and Luffy like 5 or 6 OP got better with the animation tho that Kaido fight is looking like a classic

The hand-to-hand s*** got so many nuances to it like mimicking actual fighting moves to the exaggerated movements.

Didnt realize its the fourth season of yama no susume so i'll have to go back but that first episode was beautiful

And their fights are strategically interesting like I bet they're fun to read in the manga too

the issue i have with OP fights is theyre too drawn out

like yea we get it luffy gets his ass beat then he gets a power up an whoops the enemies ass

its been like 20 episodes of kaido whooping luffy's ass an we are still like 6-7 episodes from him turnin the tides

its so bad i know he goes gear 5 like yea we spoiled this s*** months ago an its still dragging on

i need to watch the rest. that show an jujitsu kaisen have great potential but im scared theyll fumble it just because anime arent allowed to be 1000 episodes these days

I think it completely depends on the lens in which you watch it through. If you're trying to watch it the same way you watched Naruto then yeah it's incredibly bad, but they're different shows that should have different goals (and do it just fine until the Ootsuki garbage).

i dont remember it taking all that long in the manga but i also read it all straight thru. i think one piece suffering from bleach syndrome rn they dont wanna pause the anime so they can just make efficient episodes
