I think it's one of the most entertaining battle shonen ever but yeah, writing is hella weak and never expressed properly its potential, lotta of great aesthethic over substance characters, concepts and moments.
I think the writing is strong for the world building, characters, and their interactions.
The most memorable fights are between two random Quincys and Soul Society Captains.
The final battle is the weakest fight similar to the fight with Ichigo and Aizen
The writing falls a bit with Ichigo and Orihime's relationship, the powers at the end of the series, and the last 7 chapters trying to wrap it up. Don't blame him since he was getting sick and at risk of cancellation.
Just finished the Bleach Manga. It sucks seeing that the ending did seem rushed, but the character arcs that were focused on were closed up well. Hopefully the anime pumps in more Ichigo moments to make up for it. It seems like Kubo wanted to flesh out the rest of the cast. The fights were amazing, and the comedic moments just hit right.
Lots of ass pulls to the very end and a lot of characters just pull and never shown again like in avengers endgame.
Bleach ending never sat right with me how Ichigo became this concoction of fullbringer (temporarily), soul reaper and Quincy. The Quincy thing especially since it was introduced so late into the story with no foreshadow iirc.

I think if it was foreshadowed a lot better earlier in the story it would be better accepted. However, I do like it because it does explain why his existence matters being a perfect candidate for being the soul king
Symphogear ED transitions go hard as f***.
Its wild how much it adds to whats going on
Finished Soloist In A Cage.
Just 20 chapters but really good.
Was clearly intended to be a manga that could easily be 100+ chapters but cut short due to the authors illness.
What she managed to do in those few chapters is very impressive tho

Honestly, I'm pretty picky with my manga. I'm mostly a fan of surreal manga that has a lot of melancholy with hints of optimism. Dowman Sayman and Abe Yuichi are basically the only people I've discovered whose styles get it completely right for me.

Well its actually not as bad as it looks because people don't know how I use my rating system. Basically 2 stars and higher is stuff I like, and 1 star represents everything from 1/10 to 6/10 which is why I have so many of them.
Daidai wa, Hantoumei ni Nidone suru would definitely be my pick for a Yuichi starting point. If it weren't for the different in artstyle I could definitely mistake it for a Dowman work.

holy S*** she said the name of the show
