so are the fate heavens feels movies a retelling/alternate version of UBW? just saw the first movie expecting it to be a continuation of where UBW left off but it was quite the opposite

It’s another (the last) route of the Fate/Stay Night visual novel. So yeah, aside from the beginning of the story, it’s completely different from UBW.

I finished daidai wa and that manga about d***s he wrote.
Easily two of the best manga ive read.
Daidai wa is hilarious and I love the artstyle.
When I read the first page of that d*** manga I thought it was really stupid but then I just kept reading and it was genuinely profound and made me see d***s in a whole other way, or maybe the author just trolled me too hard idek anymore
I am going to read the rest of his works now, awesome recs

finished Gungrave, gotta give it a solid 3.5/5. that s*** is underrated, highly recommend to anyone who likes Trigun or any mafia/gang anime.

also watched the Char’s Counterattack movie. i enjoyed it, definitely up there with the best of the original MSG series.

I just finished Fruits Basket and I really enjoyed it. Very emotional. It touches on very mature themes, and has a message that is increasingly important to reinforce these days - which is how essential it is to consider the feelings of others even when they hurt us or disagree with us. That said, the trauma that a person like Akito caused doesn't just go away, and I liked that the show gave us the perspective of a victim like Rin who can't find a way to forgive her. It's a good bit of realistic writing in a series full of too many brilliantly human moments.

This show genuinely influenced how i see life
