I am admittedly sensitive af, but during the whole show I was never even close to being moved. Something about its sadness felt kinda forced I guess.

OnyxShine9Well it’s the protag from Demon slayer. They changed Midoriyas pupils to white at some point in the anime too, from what I found. Gogetas eyes flashed white in the Broly movie when he charged up that Kamehaha. More than just those 3, but they’re the ones that come to mind most immediately. Admittedly more common in fanart.
@basedspirit @Tranquility I get that I called it a trend but there’s really no need to get hung up on that, I was mainly seeking thoughts on the design choice.Are you talking about the Umakoshi Eye?

Don’t know the first instance he did that but it was around the 2000s when he was working on the Casshan series I think
