Yeah like I don't envy subbers for having to translate this s*** because I don't think it's easy, but damn in cases like that I have to wonder why a professional translator can't think of something better than completely changing the line. Like is it really that bad to sub it "If you run, there's one option, if you move forward there's two".

It's generally not this bad (I think) but sometimes the subbers be on one especially the CR ones because they get like 17 hours to sub an episode or something before it's supposed to be simulcast

Usually when they do that it's a fair enough equivalent and appropriate IMO

I'm all fine with changes for localization because some things actually just don't make sense when translated 1 to 1 but sometimes I'm just like you guys didn't think when subbing this
