idk why but the romance/slice of life animes do absolutely nothing for me and i wish they did.

just seems like a good amount of them have to deal with some sort of loss/loneliness in order for there to be triumph which leads to rekindling. could be talkin outta my ass but idk. thats the feeling i get from them. or maybe im just not a fan of their style of romance

Or maybe you should watch Nana if you want some real romance

from my experience most of them are pretty lame and seem to copy paste the same formula/tropes with every show

call of the night's a recent one that i enjoy a lot and is one of the better romcoms out there imo

Whole episode was so emotional for me incredible storytelling.

Facts, seeing him lifting the hoe up was surprisingly emotional it almost got my teary eyed. It hit me that this is 4 years of the anime and Thorfinn’s journey distilled into one perfect episode.

1. AOT (watched up until midway season 2 and stopped for some reason)
2. Demon Slayer (saw Mugen train with a friend without watching the series)
3. Jujutsu Kaisen
4. MHA (watched season 1 as it was airing, then dropped off
5. Vinland Saga

really just depends on what you want. if you want a super convoluted fantasy story about the horrors of war, AOT. if you want a revenge story with traditional Japanese imagery and great animation, Demon Slayer. Go with Jujutsu if you want the best fights. don’t watch MHA. Vinland Saga is cool but watch that last
