It's even worse when the show itself is full of anime references, but they don't got the same quality of work in the animation department.
Only when you bring on a real anime animator/storyboard artist does that wish get fulfilled
Oshi No Ko gonna be good or nah? Hearing good s*** about the first episode, but don’t know much about it aside from that. Anyone read the manga and recommend watching it?
The manga is genius in my opinion (I posted about it in this thread a long time ago. I think it only had several chapters at that point). It's from the same guy who made Love Is War, but it's completely different. I can't believe Aka Akasaka has such incredible range.
I'm going to watch the first episode today. I've been HYPED for this one and Hell's Paradise.

Those two manga's belong in the same universe too lol. Did he finish Oshi first?

Are you for real?!? I haven't finished Love Is War and Oshi started way after (Like 5 years) and isn't finished.

Yeah one of the characters from Love appeared for like two pages in Oshi and the timeline is actually 5 years after the events of Love.
CrunchyRoll app is so bad. Can’t pay for that s*** anymore. Any apps/sites to watch on instead?

Site was a game changer for me, differentiates the filler episodes and episodes/series start where you last left off watching

I was kinda curious to peep the show, but the premise of a gynecologist being enamored with an *underage* idol, gettin murked, and then reincarnating as her son made me go

I thought he was a general doctor? He was working with a cancer patient in the first episode

He gets pushback on this tho and denies it until the question if said idol offered to date him and then gets flustered and avoid answering
It’s good but I would never recommend or talk about it irl

People reading the synopsis and thinking like that is the reason why they made the first ep movie length
