Like that's some really refreshing s*** then realized it's about the daughter instead. I mean I'm still interested but the daughter is a somewhat cliche overly shy sensitive jittery character which I'm not the biggest fan of
I was hoping this gundam while having a female pilot would retain the serious global tone a bit like past gundams and not be too wrapped up in school but I'm still enjoying what I've seen.
I think what's really driving me is seeing what the mom is gonna do

Handa got a lot of good starts especially on LWA, and he quickly became a prolific animation director at the studio and abroad on shows like One Punch Man. His animation very vibrant and vivid and some of his effects work resembles Takeshi Honda in a few ways.
On the LWA tv series he became chief animation director and character designer cementing his spot super early on as a pivotal creative. This would also ring true on the early aired Space Patrol Luluco and later SSSS Gridman.
You can see Handa’s designs and AD work recently on the Netflix Spriggan movie.

The shounen fighter bros are busy crying about Oshi no Ko
Shows like Skip to Loafer generally get their low 8 MAL rating and enjoy their niche audience and go off into the sunset
