I'd say story, development and character wise MSG gets the nod, but pretty much everything else... design, ost, animation, etc goes to Zeta. MSG to me was a lot more put together of a plot and I thought they did an all time job showing the humanity in people on both sides of the conflict and digging in from that perspective
Zeta was a bit different where it seemed to be more keyed in on your main group, and didn't do all that much to build what was going on around them.
The finale was packed, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't have flashbacks to IBO S2 by the end. They had to do Emma like that? She was the realest one in the entire show
Kamille turned into a great MC and then turned brain dead.... but either way he was carrying the show the entire second half. I read they kind of s*** on the zeta characters in double zeta so most likely gonna skip that for now and move on to the ovas.
Besides the actual gundams the hyaku shiki, psycho gundam and qubeley designs are probably my favorite so far.
I'll leave it there for now. The whole show really grows on you as you go through it.

started s4 of Golden Kamuy since it’s finishing up. peak anime as usual

The MC development in MSG and zeta is one of the better parts of the whole show imo - Some of the other characters... Katz
