Skip and Loafer - I was surprised by how much I LOVED this show. It did everything right. Well written characters with interesting dynamics between them, and a very fresh and wholesome presentation.

skip and loafer - 8.5/10

oshi no ko - 8.5/10 - will probably pick up the manga

heavenly delusion - 8/10

gundam witch 2 - 6.5/10 - i just don't think gundam is for me, i find myself pretty bored throughout the episodes even though i think the show is fine

magical destroyers - 6/10 - not all that interesting and the episode quality varies quite a bit

hell's paradise - 6/10 - dropped after 7 episodes, just plain boring and an overall big disappointment for me

i really don’t understand some of y’all’s rating systems. do you just arbitrarily reassign value to each number? and if so, why go through that trouble instead of just using 5 as the average?

like if a show was so bad that i dropped it, that’s definitely below average, so a 4 at max

7/10 is average to me cause that's the baseline rating of a show that i would recommend to someone, anything below a 7 means that i don't think it's worthy of a recommendation

in the case of hell's paradise, i call it a big disappointment cause i was excited for it and the adaptation didn't land at all for me, so i gave it a 6. a 6 just reflects my enjoyment level, which was below average, so i wouldn't recommend it

typically if i drop a show i don't rate it cause there's multiple reasons why i might drop a show (interest level, time, motivation, etc) but for hell's paradise i felt like i've seen enough to say that i wouldn't recommend it

it's an experience is all i can say without spoiling
everything after the 1st half is pretty polarizing
