mid story with good animation, i can at least get some enjoyment out of it while the latter would sour it for me

2nd episode managed to be even better than the first

i finished Kingdom s1 so you already know which side i’m on

finished Sarazanmai. very interesting and enjoyable show. the clashing vibes of the stylishness (animation, character design, fashion) with the awkwardness & emotional vulnerability made for a pretty unique experience. and those transformation scenes were classic af of course

from what i’ve seen so far, Ikuhara don’t miss

Yeah wasn’t really feeling this. As it went on the hype fizzled. Finally finished it so I could move on to other anime. Wish it was edgier/crazier. Instead it felt generic and predictable. Characters winning or losing depended on plot convenience.

cour 2 of spy x family definitely took a step back from the first. started off pretty slowly, the meme bait and the entire middle of the cour was a bunch of half stories with really abrupt endings, almost felt like filler but i assume that's how the manga went. it picked up when fiona was introduced and ended strongly though

idk if you read manga but you should definitely read berserk since the anime only covers one part and removes a bunch of stuff from it
