Finished Fate/Zero overall a rlly good Arc!! My opinion on both Kiritsugu and Kirei ended up changing as the season kept progressing towards the end. Esp with Kiritsugu's past n all Tho I still didn't fully grasp why he ended up rejecting the grail, my understanding of it was that he realised that the grail would grant his wish at the cost of sacrificing even more lives in order to attain the justice he was longing for? Or is the grail a corrupt entity and doesn't rlly grant ur wish? The servants were all nice asl in their own ways cept for Caster I hope Saber gets her justice

Looking forward to how it follows up with the remaining chars

i will say tho the plot starts to get really stupid later on (around chapter 90ish)

the grail is corrupt ur not wrong about that but it does have the ability to grant "any" wish. they're basically an ancient magic relic that's in essence just an endless source of magic energy. it was corrupted in a previous holy grail war but they do a really poor job at explaining or alluding to it.

yea from what i remember his intentions was to end all wars by winning the holy grail war. unfortunately for him the grail wasnt some thanos snap that could poof all conflicts away, it came with a cost, meaning bloodshed would still happen even if meant to achieve world peace. so ultimately he figured if it still resulted in peoples dying then no one should have the grail

ironically enough that still resulted in people dying
