yeah 100% the last arc i read in the manga made me drop it because of how boring and ridiculous it got
best part about the timeskip was the romance

ima watch s2 for sure but i still have a couple shows from two seasons ago that i need to finish

prolly gonna start w tsurune s3 then oshi no ko then maybe happy marriage then last season s*** and then this season stuff

it's not that good at all imo

other than the initial set up (guy who can't die partners with girl who causes everything to go wrong) everything surrounding it is very by the numbers and just kinda boring. it has good animation and color palette at times but for the most part it feels like any other battle shonen but in a not very interesting world, not all that great character design and with a power system that probably won't be fleshed out into anything special.

episode 7 of 24 aired today and i already feel like i've seen everything it has to offer, idk if i'll even make it all 24

I feel like I write this up earlier and earlier every year. Also probably my least diverse end of year list I have ever had since I barely watched anything this year.

Not including stuff that won't be finished this year so stuff like Frieren aren't appearing until next year. Not including OVAs like Fate/strange Fake in production awards cause the production cycle difference is just kinda unfair compared to TV anime. Also combining storyboarding, compositing, and background art into one aesthetic category cause I'm way too lazy this year.
