It ain’t a Hakuyu Go episode if buildings aren’t flying in the air

Despite all the bad stuff that has been discussed the past week this episode managed to be exceptionally riveting, albeit in some instances nearly incomprehensible spectacle.

Go, Miso, and Harumi Yamazaki had a lot on their plate, and I can see some parts of the animation were struggling to keep up with the scale of the action from just how rough some of the scenes looked. It’s really unfortunate, because I know it must’ve been an exhausting experience for the director, freelancers, and compositors that was ultimately worth more time, and love. 60 KAs is unbelievable too, not even some high end movies have that many. Also no CAD with animators having to fill that even not being credited for the position makes no sense.

The end of the episode was really jarring where the OP song Special played and in that moment did not warrant it whatsoever. Although Miso tweeted that it “fit”.

Didn't look bother to look at 16bit sensation, but until I saw that premise I have to check it out. Really interesting plot that contextualizes light novel history
