Yea that show was a chore to get through imo. Basically all of it was either nonsensical, boring, or left unexplained. I think there are much better psychological shows and much better mech shows.

I still gotta watch End of Eva tho so maybe that’ll change my mind. Why what’d you think of it?

EoE is the perfect climax, imo the psychology of the characters is well-fleshed but the more you progress the more the movie becomes confusing and tripping as hell. If you disliked the og show I don't know what will you think about this one but you should give it one chance at least

I would say Dress Up Darling has more resemblance

NGE was the first anime show I ever saw and it was the only time I felt a show was larger than life. The whole thing felt otherwordly to me in a way that to this day has not been replicated. It's hard to put into words the emotions it made me feel.
