Isn't it crazy how we can look at a drawing of a human and still feel the emotions transpire as if it were a real person. Like, it doesn't even have to be a human, just demonstrate qualities that we usually associate with humans. I think that's really beautiful.
episode is a week old, thought it was fine my b
i feel u im a bit behind cuz of school but also its just safer for folks in general, i appreciate your understanding
I just finished watching the Chimera Ant arc in HxH and damn. I realize a lot of people don't like it because of the pacing, which I admit is not always the best. But the high points are so strong that the lower ones don't even bother me.
I loved the parallel between Meruem starting out as an animalistic monster who gradually gains a level of humanity and appreciation for the value of life, as opposed to Gon who in his thirst for revenge sees his empathetic nature and childish charm stripped away to reveal a very disturbing side (the scene where he first meets Pitou was the most terrifying scene in the entire series). I noticed even the way Meruem and Gon sit in key scenes mirrors the parallel between them. And they don't even cross paths in the entire arc.
I also found the arc somewhat subversive in other respects. It showed a lot of constraint where I would not expect it. And I loved that even minor characters had moments of great emotional depth. Very well written indeed.
EoE is the perfect climax, imo the psychology of the characters is well-fleshed but the more you progress the more the movie becomes confusing and tripping as hell. If you disliked the og show I don't know what will you think about this one but you should give it one chance at least
Word imma try to check it out this week. I hate movies lol but i gotta watch that and the final madoka magica movie too
Might try to also but I’ll have to go by myself

I guess you could say it's a rehash cause they're going to Hueco Mundo to save Orihime but so far it doesn't feel like I'm getting hit with nearly as much info as Soul Society. In Soul Society we get introduced to like 20+ named characters, a whole governmental system, the zanpakuto and magic system gets further explained and advanced, and a whole bunch of other world building stuff. It was still really good but it could be kinda heavy handed at times.
So far the Arrancar Arc is similar but just less which makes the pacing much better (for me at least) and it doesn't feel like I'm reading the same thing again.

I’m already watching like 8 seasonals so I doubt I can squeeze it in

Arrancar arc is great, some call it the peak of the series
the last arc in the manga is amazing as well though

i read all the chapters
i don’t get how this is supposed to work as an anime

last arc is a mess but got the potential to be the best if anime fixes it.
Didn't enjoy the huge amount of new cast introduction since few of them are truly well characterized. Plus Ywach finale battle must be changed because manga resolution is nonsense. If you wanna write a op villain you better have in mind a way to defeat him or these are the results
what show is this
