theres like maybe 3 scenes per season where they manage to drag Imai into the building and force him to draw by chaining him to the table. Outside of those handfuls of scenes the animation is nothing to talk about
Aight, I'm curious as to why do u think the show is, in your own words, trash
your avy will be better than aot
Nah i f*** with csm but itβs not on AOT level
well at least you have a lot of stuff to binge lol
i rewatched the movie before season 2 only to find out it's a recap
i watched both nonetheless
I always wondered what the differences was. do you think I should watch the show version or the movie π€

bro read his profile bio and stop talking to him
Well, you could argue that Eren made that choice/sacrifice to simply fuel his hatred for the titans and thus kickstarting his path - In other words, he had no choice. As for your last point, yeah, I did say the dialogue got pretty atrocious (that s\*\*\* Armin said was comical af).
But when I say the ending made sense, I was moreso talking about how the story of AoT mirrors a lot of our reality. The theme of the never-ending cycle of hatred / the illusion of freedom, was and still is pretty powerful imo.
we cant even say he had no choice because after the big battle between the survey corps & bertolt/reiner eren gets all the information about the titans from his dad basement lol (he also got this info during a peaceful era on their island before the timeskip btw)
reiner literally on the floor crying & telling eren that he and the other eldians like annie and bertolt were brainwashed into fighting for the marleyans and that he regrets doing it because he had no choice and eren still proceeds to kill innocent ppl

theres maybe like one and a half well written characters (reiner and gabbie). Does mikasa even have a meaningful character trait that doesnt revolve around eren?
the animation is terrible outside of the handful of scenes where Imai gets dragged into the studio
the compositing in the newest season is ugly as f***
bad cgi
new topics brought up in the latest season could theoretically make the show more interesting, but they've been brought up so late into the story, and their execution so far has been so unsubtle and on-the-nose that i dont trust the show to handle it with a sense of elegance
i liked the aot ending
it was the best possible outcome for the characters we grew to love...isayama's only choices were to either kill a bunch of people off or come up with a plot twist to preserve everyone
the former would've been bad but it wouldve made more sense than trying to absolve eren of mass genocide lmfao
Whole lotta bad takes about aot from demon slayer watchers!!!
Demon slayer fans really be hyping up the most generic shonen out of the entire history of Shonen π
Toradora soon
The most overrated and lowkey worst of the beginner romcoms out there
the entire series we're led to believe that eren was curious about life outside the walls and is fueled to join the survey corps after his mother gets eaten by a titan only to find out that eren after gaining ymir's power he was able to predetermine every event thats happened since the beginning of the series and even sacrificed his own mother to save bertolt who betrays them later on in the series. he also genocides 80% of the other island for "his friends sake" armin asks him why did he do all that and no bs eren tells him he doesnt even know why he did it. and then armin THANKS him for it
thats not nonsensical to you lmfao?
Just clicked on the spoiler. LMAOOOOO that's the ending?
when you have shows with pure-hearted protagonists you need flawed characters to avoid a circle jerk of morality and role models
zenitsu is cool imo....most other shows have some sort of growing up moment where these types of people just snap but demon slayer uses the sleep gimmick to avoid that
he gets better arc by arc tho
I agree that they need a balancing side character with flaws I just think it's annoying how they write characters super one note and over the top. Like Zenitsu is a crybaby so he needs to cry all the time. I prefer him the way he is now when he's more calm down, same thing with Inosuke who used to just yell all the time. Just let them be nuanced characters. For some reason the writers think a character can just repeat a word and that's their personality.

No way, it's not the worst

wish i was lying but yes
that clusterfuck of a plot twist was introduced on the very last chapter too

Why didnt he know?
Why didnt he know?
after eren got ymir's power he apparently couldnt see the past or present everything happened at once. even though the next page heavily implies that he saved bertolt from getting eaten by a titan and sacrificed his mom
ah yeah anyone who disagrees with your very popular opinion is just being a contrarian for the sake of contrarianism, right??
What dont u like about aot

Almost as bad as WEP ending

well, being part of the demon slayer corps and facing tragedy changed them where as tanjiro who started out with tragedy was in that mindset waayy before them

I agree but it's too simplified. In other action anime I felt like the character introductions were more subtle.
For example the new hashira they work with in the new season. His personality is "flashy" so he just says "flashy". Same with the villainess who I think is really cool. She's just mean and says "I'm pretty and I don't care about ugly people" like a Twitter account. It's heavy handed and too obvious.

Over time i grew to like all the characters of aot i previously gave no f\*\*\* for like jean, armin and the squad in general and after seeing eren go fulll terminator i just was happy to see em sruvive (even if the ending made some of the deaths pointless)
