They will fit any commonly held interpretations of life events to this mold in the name of youth. To them, lies, secrets, sins and failures are but seeds of spice in their youth. Supposedly, such failures were an indication of youth, then one who has failed to make friends must also be at the height of his youth. But, they would disagree on this point. Everything must fit into their preconstructed mold.

lmao, idk if it was me just casually watching it, but I genuinely thought this anime made it obvious this guy thought process was of a genuine loser. The anime making it obvious that you should not be as pessimistic as this sad sap. He also wasn't oblivious to why he was lame or about what he did.

The anime actually cared enough to make him grow up and actually get a bit more social.

I think Clannad and Hyouka are sort of self-insert but the MC is interesting

The way he grew as a character also took time and came from talking to different types of people instead of just 1 best girl. I was glad I started this show late because I couldn’t imagine waiting years apart especially with the final season coming out like what 4-5 years after the previous

I should rewatch it. I remember watching after Ouran and feeling like it's "not that good" and I had to remind myself that I just watched Ouran.

I love mysteries and slice of life s*** and this is a great combination of both. Plus the entire friend group was fun and interesting. Chill anime

I never watched it. I did watch that Zack Afron movie that is like ReLife lol. Weird movie as both the wife and daughter have a crush on his teen self. Weird fantasy.
