The anime has a faster pacing after L's death while the manga is more fleshed out in that part. I think a lot of the criticisms of that part of the story come from that.

Maybe, I haven't read the manga so idk how many source material they have for it, anyway I never recommend skipping the third part of the anime, I feel like that's part of the story, but I agree it fell off at that point

Anyway the first 10 or so episodes of Death Note are so fire, I appreciated it more after rewatch because it just kept me on the edge of my seat constantly, that s*** was amazing and I feel like anime rarely do this

great anime hits different when it’s not all you watchNothing feels worse than watching 10+ eps of an anime you realise you no longer feel like watching tho
BUT
there's a lot of overlooked great anime from the 90s-80s plus you can always rewatch

that's disappointing cause i was really hoping this would fill the void that Doro Hedoro left in me, i loved that anime so much and really wanted something similar to watch while i wait for S2

You need to be more specific about what you liked from Dorohedoro and what you want from Bisco if you want an accurate answer. Two action shows are technically similar to each other based on sharing similar genres but one might have a different tone than the other.

basically what i like about Dorohedoro (yeah it has no space in the middle) is that it's very unique in the craziness of it's story, it's world and it's style (especially the style, i love the character designs). It's different from 90% of the anime coming out today (no shonen cliches and no cute anime girl bullshit).
