Damb my recent watches have been crazy. Finishing ping pong then going to Revue starlight and gridman. No doubt I’ll need a couple 6-7/10 rom coms after these
Fr when I watch too much good stuff I gotta reset my mind with some dumbass fantasy show
anybody here f***ing with Sabikui Bico? i heard it's kinda like Doro Hedoro and i loved Doro Hedoro

Exactly how I feel
Vanitas is getting exciting @Psychodrama
I see your pfp tho
still havent decided if im going to read or watch s2 of vanitas
yuki special, now I get the hype around fruits basket...also, I see yours too
I get it but I meant what’s the point of an adaptation that you can’t understand fully without reading the source material, it’s supposed to tell a full story even if it’s different
no no no it's not that you cant understand without reading the source material. It's that it wants to be like the source material but gets lost in translation. In that case, I'd prefer an entirely original story

I think they just check marked stuff like "show this character" or "show this fight" without establishing why anything is going on and why we should care
Need My Dress Up to move like My Love Story cuz they need to stop playing around

they just saying that cuz of the mushrooms
Is the disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya fire?
Yes
You have to watch the anime tho and I recommend skipping through eternal eight (that s*** is boring) you can just watch 2 of them and the last one and you got the point
Sometimes mid anime is more fun than quality anime anyway
facts bruh i hate mfs who only watch s*** that’s getting d*** rode into oblivion like Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer
great anime hits different when it’s not all you watch
Recently rewatched the show Death Note. It's been a long time since I watched.

This show definitely should have ended when THAT happened, because Near is one of the most boring/disappointing characters in the show. Also, it would make sense for Light, since his plan was airtight/ made sense up to that point. After that, plot went off the rails, and the characters were no interesting/no tension
S*** reminded me of Jason Bourne movies at times, the tension was REALLY good in those moments, L was a an interesting character and he felt like a genuine threat.
Misa was annoying/had no character development at all. Even Mikami, who came WAY later than her, got a whole episode just dedicated to who he was as a person, and she remains a suck up model the whole way through. Yeah I get it, she's a stan or whatever, but so was he, like sheesh, at least expanded on her if she's gonna get that much screen time. Same goes for Takada; idk, it just rubbed me the wrong way.
Overall, good show that should have ended when THAT happened.
BTW, the metal theme songs for latter episodes are heat

I can see it not even ending the season with a kiss fr

Not everyone has time on his hands to watch bs tho lol

I disagree because the ending is one of my fav endings and I can't see it ending any other way without passing the wrong message.
If Light wins then what's the point of the anime? He was just right all along? If L beats him, that's not so bad but I think L really loved him. It's better for Near a guy who doesn't respect him at all to humble him in his final moments, tell him he's just a criminal and not a god like he thinks. And it makes sense for years to pass and Light to get rusty and get used to just winning so it shocks him when a new threat appears.
So I think that's a justified ending just that Mello and Near aren't likable characters and could use character development.
Also my thought about Misa is that she's just a wild card character to tip the balance between Light and L. She's a huge advantage to Light because she has the eyes and is loyal to him but at the same time, a liability because she's the weak link and can make unpredictable choices and mistakes.

Sometimes u just gotta watch some 12 ep bullshit

Idk, Light going out sad at the hands of Near was some amateur hour type s\*\*\*, and uncharacteristic of his intelligence, plus a dude with an ego like his who was always taking extra extra precautions about everything; I just wasn't buying that Near was gonna be the one to do him in, even though you could make the case for Light getting rusty. I guess it boils down to Near and Mello's conflict not being fleshed out
Misa was what you said, but she still could have been soo much more. She got the shaft imo

The thing is that it was both near and mello who took him out, as near says. He says he couldnt do it on his own because hes not on L's level, so mello had to help out and he did. Also, light got way less cautious because of his win against L, that s\*\*\* got to him and fed his god complex even more, he felt untouchable, until he wasnt. I think the ending makes it pretty clear how he lost, maybe to a fault, as if the mangaka is really trying to tell you that no, near is not anywhere close to L, L is great and all, Light lost because of these circumstances, etc.

Okay, I think I see what you're saying with L dying and all feeding Light's god complex/making him more reckless. Maybe a season 2 would have been needed? Before we got to Light's demise

so anything lower quality than AOT and Demon Slayer is bullshit???
you just exposed yourself as the exact type of person i was complaining about
