With how fast they dished out Beastars s2 it's more likely than ever the season could drop much sooner. We do know Orange is working smth on the side along with making Beastars but it could be anything ofc

I get this cus the adaptation is a daringly, wildly different take because of its medium. Reading the manga after finishing the anime is the best way to approach the og work

Most have been misses, plus the stereotype about 3D works isnt encouraging at all. Even Studio Orange whos spectacularly good at it and i still see people doubting their shows

They do know its bad: but they still gotta push s*** out the door because of the TV schedule. They could have all the talent in the world but if the schedule is f***ed they're gonna need to take some shortcuts. They also might just not be as talented as you think they are: there's a reason why some animators are well-known and trusted with important scenes while others are not.

I get that but being s***ty at your job affects the final product and their career in general. That's basic s*** everybody knows

Well no, it won't affect their career because they all work in the same industry. Any potential employers are well aware that s***ty production schedules affect the final product. Broadcast dates are booked, staff are scheduled in, and they still need to worry about starting the next project in time too. If s***ty scheduling happens on one project they just gotta take the L instead of ruining the next project's schedule.

They did a great job with dororo, hopefully the industry considers remaking these old classics cause dororo and devilman crybaby were top notch and our generation needs to know about the old s*** that influenced this medium

What i like about anime is that its mainly 2D animation

3 episodes into Shirobako and I’m liking it so far. I don’t know much about the actual industry and what goes on behind the shows so it’s cool to see that. I like the characters so far too and since it’s set in an adult setting rather than high school or something it’s a little bit more relatable lol

I enjoy 2D animation but I appreacite it deeply when an anime brings something new to the table

Glad you're enjoying it. The show is a wonderful love letter to the industry and the people involved in it. I don't think I would love and appreciate anime anywhere near as much as I currently do if it wasn't for that show.
