DMWRthe thing with yamada films is that other than silent voice, they are all tie-ins to existing franchises. liz and the blue bird is probably the easiest to watch on its own but you'll probably get more out of it watching hibike euphonium first. and then for k-on movie and tamako love story you'd have to watch k-on and tamako market first respectively
but all of it is worth watching imo, shows and movies alike, all hits no misses

like bruh, you watch Akira today and it still takes a massive s*** on anything going on in animation in anime today (except AOT, Demon Slayer, etc.)
They jus those people insecure about how people gas up the 90s and 00s classic anime and as a result wanna s*** on all that to prop up modern s***
