Been sleeping on it cus it has two of the things I hate the most in anime:
1. That 3d animation bullshit. Looks ugly as hell
2. Animal characters
But after watching a video about it and the plot it look kinda good
I was at first sceptical too for the same reasons, but it is really a great show.
Have only seen season 1 tho, would still rec.

Man the last 15 episodes were straight heat, Roy Mustang, Edward, Van Hohenheim and Greed goated characters.
Also loved how philosophical the series was, The Truth/God was/is a damn intresting character.

FMA Brotherhood is a remake, not a sequel.
FMA OG is from 2003 came out before the manga was finished so the first half is manga canon and the second half is anime canon (still good!)
FMA Brotherhood is from 2009 and it came out after the manga was finished. This version is full manga canon and has the "real" ending.
In my opinion, if you only watch one watch Brotherhood. If you plan to watch both, watch OG then Brotherhood. But you can watch one without the other.
