The voice acting was definitely too much early on but Asta’s voice actor did a great job toning it down. Animation was awful at times.

I don’t find a whole lot of the characters interesting and having characters reinforce their tropes in like 80% of their lines is weak

Positives: actually don’t really have a problem with Asta. I usually end up disliking most shonen protags but he’s fine
