Never gotten into any anime shows ever, if I wanted to start where would be a good jumping point?

Wouldn’t say that. I love them all I just put AoT first because it’s my all time favorite and it’s on its way to being a GOAT series, period.

imo the best anime to always start with is Cowboy Bebop. AoT tbh is a really good starter anime too though.

Facts, or Samurai Champloo tbh since they're both by the same director, slightly prefer champloo if I'm being honest

champloo is dope but I think Bebop is a lot more accessible because it draws a lot from western art influences

Some of these are not necessarily the best of the best, but for someone starting out these are perfect. I would also add attack on titan if you want to watch an ongoing series and join the hype

I started with Death Note, Psycho Pass, Monster and Code Geass.

If you have the time u gotta catch up on attack on titan so u can watch it live with everyone else, this type of hype on a weekly airing anime is like once in a decade type s***
