There’s been 3 posts at minimum, and a bunch of others in the other thread so I know where these niggas really stand on the issue. Just say “I support this” and keep it pushing. No need to make this a matter of how the Iranian government has a right to resist the US cause that’s clearly not what the protesters or OP are concerned about

I didn’t make that post with people like you in direct focus (maybe peripheral, but not explicitly) it was more directed at the guys here and in the past finding every excuse to back Iran, something I haven’t seen you doing. I just know the frustration of having to argue about your own country with people who don’t even have any relations there

Yes they are. You’re being blinded because you often agree with them so you want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but reread this thread from an anti Iranian government, and you’ll find that a few people have made posts implying or outright stating that the protesters are just reactionaries, indirectly supporting the Iranian government. Him not responding to charges against US war crimes is because he probably doesn’t believe the US has been as damaging to Iran as Iran’s own government

Also it’s true that he’s biased due to his family and what not, but there are online forums, groups based on social media in various counties, that can give you an extra insight into the views of the people in the country

I know you're not directing anything at me specifically, and I don't take any offense to that. Certain people seemingly being support of Iran's current regime is exactly what OP is trying to achieve. And, I don't think OP being of Iranian heritage necessarily makes him anymore knowledgeable than Tom, D***, and Harry either, and that's where we disagree.

This thread and a few of OP’s posts outside it have been made as an argument against the constant critiquing of the US and it really isn’t hard to see.

A bunch of people on here would naturally side with Iran defending its sovereignty and OP is mad at that.
