Why would you get a new car if you're a young new driver

fr where y'all paying $500 for coverage I'm lostttt
I live 30 minutes from NYC and even if I got full coverage (which I wouldn't), it would be $300 max
Then again I'm not buying a new car to let that b**** depreciate
groundskeeper at a baseball stadium
Would go in at 9am, get high, drag a rake through the warning tracks and move some bases then dip at 2pm for 29 dollars an hour
I might look into that honestly.
There’s a Phillies stadium nearby I believe.

Na it was a used car. I meant new as in my first lol. Still it was high because they said I’m young and s***
but if you're able to work for amazon whole foods i'd suggest that than being an actual amazon delivery driver.
its more or less like a instacart version of amazon but you can drive your own car not worry about a manager and can listen to music through your entire shift.
There’s only instacart in my area and I heard it pays garbage.

You guys being robbed blind. My insurance started at $150 (liability) and has been around there since I started driving (3rd year driving now).
If I had to pay more than $250/m I wouldn't even drive
I might just do doordash for now since I still have my account, this job I got now is insane because of the managers and they won’t stop the overtime which they didn’t even tell me about until I got hired.
If I quit could I just file for the COVID unemployment after about a week?

How old are you? And I’m straight I only pay 107 right now lol
How the hell did you get 150 and you 21
Good student discount from college, defensive driving course for lower rates, no accidents, no tickets (technically got one, but it was removed by the defensive driving course), close commute/drives, security features on car I guess
Having a car that doesn't have a history of being crashed a lot affects your insurance a good amount
