whats the purpose of tarot as opposed to astrology ?

tarot is a bit more personal and relevant to the individual in my experience. both can be used for divination, but tarot is better for more nuanced inquiries whereas astrology is more general and focused on the space/time around you.

well im always looking to gain more self-knowledge so it sounds appealing
