I've been sick with tonsilitis about the last two days. It was manageable yesterday but got way worse around late afternoon, that came with some body aches.

Body aches are over now, but this is easily the worst tonsilitis I've ever had. I can't swallow without physically recoiling. I'm doing the few things google recommends and been sweating/trying to sleep for the last 20 hours but I want to know if KTT has any lesser-known remedies for it.

lesser known......no.......but if u got a doctor u can readily go to next week they'll give u some steroids n those really do work wonders. you'll likely only have to do em for a handful of days, prolly not even a week

@op home remedies are fine and all but don't neglect to see a doctor if s*** gets worse.

gargle saltwater with lime
Jaeger in a spray bottle and spray it in your throat to numb them
join zincies gang with zinc lozenges
gargle hot water with apple cider vinegar
gargle soluble aspirin in water regularly to help with the pain if you don't swallow the medication. It acts like a topical cream which can be repeated hourly.
