Ive been on 20mg (second lowest dosage iirc) for more than a year and before that i was on 30mg for almost a year. I rarely ever take breaks because when i do im not as sharp, and i dont really see a benefit from a break. Im on a low dosage so i dont believe my tolerance is strong

Im in australia btw so we’ve had some shortages over the past couple yrs or so but not as bad as im hearing it is in the usa

Adderall is much better imo. I take it every day. And it doesn't really have withdrawals. Similar to a caffeine withdrawal.

How do you go about getting diagnosed with adhd?

30mg: suppressed appetite, increased sweating and cold hands/feet but also helps me to focus. Negatives don’t really outweigh the positives though. Also have to take it early 6/7am otherwise I can’t sleep that night.

Vyvanse is generally a bit safer than other adhd meds such as dexys because they’re not as easily abused - it’s longer acting and metabolised in your liver so can’t be snorted.

It depends. Many times they're just like a symptom band aid and you'll always take them.

Some people have ADHD to the point where they literally can't function without them, unfortunately it's not always like an anti depressant which you always aim to get off of after therapy

no, concerta is XR ritalin, both are methylphenidate but also just brand names anyways. Your new bottle might say 'off brand of ritalin' even

that is kind of a low dose, would just wake me up a bit tbh. I used to feel what I needed to feel on like 36mg concerta or maybe 20mg ritalin at a time. if your doc is hell bent on the methylphenidate-like substances maybe look into focalin, but that s***s strong lol. or you can cook the ritalin into a crack rock and smoke it

the methyls I feel were almost being phased out as amphetamine based meds seem to have a better effectiveness rate but now they seem to be thrown all over due to the shortages

I took 2 18 concerta’s for the past few weeks cause I thought it was a dosage thing. So was doing 36 but tbh I didn’t even feel s*** on that

yea I mean concerta is known for being pretty mild in general I feel. not uncommon for people to take a lot more, or if someone is abusing it they rip it up and crush off the plastic coating without the d*** in it (some of the plastic coatings contain it though, really interesting pill the way its designed tbh)

Yes I took it from ages 11-17, can't really say I have idea if it did anything.

Adderall + Klonopin is what I take right now. Absolutely godly combo especially if you're going on a date or something.

I was on it a bit I didn't like it, too stimulating and my brain reacts to ssri/snri meds in a negative way. Also gave me headaches
