Like a gunna album doesn’t deserve a front to back listen, I’m skimming that s*** and picking out songs. I’ll front to back a future album but if I keep hearing mid im start skipping through. Not wasting my time with mid

and albums are not comparable to movies, you don’t objectively need to listen to the whole thing in order to fully experience a song the way you do with a scene in a movie

Jun 22, 2022When albums are new or I haven’t fully digested them, I listen to the full album. So for at least 1-2 months.
Once they get played out there are only a few songs that rise to the top usually which become playlist songs that are always playing in the background.

This is completely fair. If a song (hip hop at least) doesn’t capture you within a minute, then it’s fair to skip the s***. Nowadays a lot of hip hop is quite repetitive and doesn’t require a full listen to determine if you like it so I don’t know why people pretend it’s a sin to hit skip
lol you play a minute of a hip hop song nowadays and that’s about 90% of the whole song

DannyIt's not that we don't have the capacity, we just choose not to. If AM can give me the good songs, why would I listen to the bad ones? This way I have more time for other activities, like spending more time at work or watching TikTok reels.
