yea Lisbon and surrounding areas is the only place i went, but there’s so much to do there. i stayed in Barrio Alto and the bars there were dope. also went to a restaurant called Fado ao Carmo that was fantastic, was a little pricey but it’s one of the best non-touristy traditional fado places (if you don’t know fado is where they sing beautiful songs of melancholic longing while you’re eating, it’s a tradition built off portuguese women missing their husbands while gone at sea) a lot are tourist traps but that place is family run and the owner even sang once lol, and the food was fire
overall tho Portuguese people are extremely chill so you can just walk around and stumble in to places and will certainly have a good time, especially in June it’ll be popping. pastel de natas are a must too, Manteigaria is an iconic place for them but they’re all over the city
