Highly recommend Rome, haven't been to Venice though. Rome is amazing, lots to do and see
Rome >>>
yeah just went to venice last month. waaay too crowded
if you're gonna go don't stay near San Marco square
Went to Florence just a few months back for 4 days. Was incredible. So much to do and see. Easy to walk about. Amazing food, lovely people. Highly recommend. Though if you do go there (and I assume anywhere popular in Italy really) book tickets in advance for the touristy things you wanna see.
Didn't use the trains, but did use the tram which was ridiculously cheap and simple to use. So I assume the train would be of similar quality. I did meet plenty of people who had used it to and from Rome/Milan seemingly with no issues.
I'm planning to go in a couple months for 7 days and i cant decide where to stay
I'm stuck between Milan and Rome
Milan is close to Lake Como and not to far from other places like Florence and Venice
But Rome seems like a better place for tourists
how good is the train system? would i be able to travel to a lot of places if I stayed in Rome without having to be on trains for like 4+ hours?
Nightman! AHHHHHHH
u rly can't mess this up imma be honest
lots to think about, thanks for all the replies itt
im leaning toward Milan atm but gonna look more into it this week and choose soon
Go to Rome for 4 days and Florence for 3. When you’re in Florence take a day going on a tour of Tuscany
if i had to pick between milan and rome id 100% do rome
north italy
only been to milan for like a day
Barcelona. So f***ing beautiful, man
clubs must be insane out there, when i went i was too young
Rome has incredible historic sites but personally wouldn’t recommend staying there if you want a more laid back trip without all the crowds and tourist traps.
Imo nothing beats Tuscany. Insanely beautiful landscape and top tier food and wine. If you get a chance to visit Florence I recommend giving yourself a lot of time to explore the place.
Don't go if your not white
Don't let racism prevent you from visiting Italy OP.
You'll experience racist experiences, especially in Rome, but the trip was still worth it.
Don't go if your not white
lol racist white people only act racist if you meet the stereotype
i seem to be very approachable so even if they are racist they cant help themselves but be nice lol
