Yeah. Mine works perfect but i hope they ad features later like blue tooth, youtube Netflix etc and some kinda cloud streaming. UT w/e. I think if it was 50 or 75 bucks cheaper people probably wouldn't mind as much idk.

Yeah $200 is a lot to ask for such a niche use case but i’d probably grab it for $100 if they add some extra features

I agree tbh but this has its niche audience. Unfortunately I dont think Sony is committed to the handheld part of the game industry seriously enough as someone like Nintendo. They know what their strengths are and even the psp and vita both had fanbases they never really exploded the way Sony wanted them to to my knowledge especially the vita.

PS5 doesn't have bluetooth either

In this day and age where AAA developers are taking years to put out releases (except Insomniac). Do you really think they'll have time to make smaller titles for a new Vita?

The support will fall off after the first or second year. That's what happens when they make a separate library of titles for a portable console. That's what happened with the PSP/Vita.

A new portable would just have to be a mini PS5 where it can run titles natively but the quality would have to be bogged down to run.

Poor execution from Sony though. This needed to be better. There are 3rd party apps that do remote play smoother and have way more options to have a better performance.

Yeah but you can use an adapter on a ps5, for $200 a handheld in 2023 should have it built in. I can’t think of another handheld at that price point that doesn’t have it

Sony has always been weird with bluetooth on all of their consoles, so it was to be expected.

All of their headphones require a dongle just to get it to work.

Also, there is a workaround where you can use the bluetooth headphone with the PS5 while using the Portal.

People aren't thinking things through when they advocate for a new dedicated handheld from Sony

Their games are going to PC and being steam deck certified, that's as good as it will get
