Idk how anyone can go from Sopranos to BB and criticize the latter because nothing happens. BB takes influence from Sopranos but has way more action and a quicker pace. One of the most talked about Sopranos episodes is one where two characters are lost in the woods
Skylar's crying face nearly ruined the show for me
Was watching random season 5 Seinfeld episode last night where Jerry got denied by her

i like the cast in the sopranos more than the overall cast in bb
Its obviously overrated. Been saying this for years. Last season isnt that good either. Its overrated because of how good S4 was. Its funny cause thats also why GoT is so overrated. Another masterfull S4 but after that meh...
Mr Robot knew how to do it
But the Sopranos and Mad Men are two of GOATs.

Incorrect.
People talk about the Pine Barrens episode due to the comedy in the episode. The episode itself doesn't reflect what the show is all about.
It's like me trying to claim the fly episode of Breaking Bad represents what it's all about. Even as someone who doesn't like BB that'd be stupid.
Sopranos has pretty influenced all TV that came after it. But just because it takes it influence from one of the greatest shows ever doesn't make it it's equal.

I'm not saying BB is equal to Sopranos because it takes influence from it. BB is even better than Sopranos imo and that's because it has a more interesting main character who you see the transformation of, more action and it actually has a solid ending where it feels like everything concludes for most characters rather than an ambiguous cut to black and roll credits that everyone overrates tf out of
Post an episode that you feel encompasses the show better and I can post an episode of BB with more action. That's the point I was making - even one of the most beloved episodes has nothing happening in it BB has the Fly but also has episodes where niggas are d***ging the cartel, heisting a train, being blown up. It's got a better balance than watching Tony obsess over geese and Meadow's taste in men
it's alright
nowhere near the sopranos though
Agreed.
I think I would have enjoyed BB a lot more If I didn't go straight from finishing Sopranos to it.
Lol I'm watching Soprano's right now and have to echo something that someone else said. Nothing happened in Season 1 and 2 of Soprano's. I love it but if we're being honest, absolutely nothing happened. I mean the big bad villain of season 1 was his own mother lol.
In season 2 it's the same story, the entire season was a build up to P****'s death. Oh he hallucinated a beautiful Italian woman who represents his mom/fantasy woman? Oh that one guy went into debt and they had to steal his sports gear? Christopher got shot, yeah that was something, but it was by absolutely nobody characters with no impact on the overall story, that was an absolute safe shooting.
Even Richie's death didn't hit as hard because by that point he wasn't a threat and had just become a minor annoyance to Tony as opposed to the big bad threat he appeared to be when the season started.
I haven't watched season 3 yet, I will eventually, but if your criticism of Breaking Bad is that nothing happens, then please, I beg of you, tell me, what happens in the first 2 seasons of Soprano's?
it’s one of those super slow, artsy shots, d*** and crime talk stuff that film bros ejaculate over
All of this is wrong
perfect show, i love the sopranos, but breaking bad is a much more perfectly written story than the sopranos.
Just u buddy
you can’t remember one major event that happens??
honesty just finish it out. then watch el camino then better call saul. you get wayyyyyyy more back story on mike and gus in better call saul

This is more applicable to BCS. Very good show but these "Better than Breaking Bad" liars need to stop

You're just a dumbass
OP might have to admit they have brain damage tbh
Better call Saul, the final season airs in 2022
