As a stan I do wish he went to a more “matured” image as he’s getting older and not feel like it’s the other way around though

The greats have always been at the top until someone came for their head. Recently Jay, 50,Kanye,Wayne and The Boy but If someone who doesn't listen to Rap told me to pull up some new music; i'm not putting them onto Drake. Ran it for a decent amount of time but s*** is a joke now.

Sure he’s catching lots of flack but in drakes own words “the 72hour rule” this too will pass. Nba Youngboy wore nail polish and it didn’t change much of peoples perspective about him. I have to agree with this as well. I’d argue he was trying to find himself more in his early years of his career more than he is now. A lot of different styles he’s tried to dabble in but he’s never truly been that conventional hip hop guy whether it’s upbringing, appearance, or whatever. Idc man I’m less invested in his personal life these days as I once was before but if he’s happy and gonna continue to feed us music I enjoy I’m happy for him

i feel you on the mature image, the fits he was wearing around Scorpion era, More Life, Views etc felt more fitting for where I feel like Drake is
not saying he doesn't dress cool now, i guess it's a result of how I see Drake as a Boss 24/7 not a regular dude
But simultaneously I think his new style and manner of carrying himself is fitting because he's the biggest artist in music, he's too successful and frankly too rich to move differently because people will judge him. There are very few corporations willing to burn a bridge with Drake at this point, man is getting as much bread from Nike as Lebron James...

I'm pro-love and pro-minding mine, certain things just end up feeling forced. Drake's forever one of them ones and I don't really care, it is a tad bit cringe tho.
I actually hope Yachty and Drake work more, I like how active they've been and the music is solid. I've given up on another TC, NWTS, or IYRT tier work but I think Drake is still more than capable of cooking up something great. That $500Ms energized him.
