Nah, he's fully aware of the duck lips thing. He's aware people call him soft/gay because he's lightskinned/Canadian. He doesn't take himself too seriously and leans into most of the silly narratives about himself as a way to troll people and those people in turn double down like "see! We told you this nigga is gay!". Whole time he isn't and just trolled them and went about his day lol.

They think every rapper is gay/bi lmao.

It’s very strange… but I guess this goes to show why people thought drakes intro on rich flex was “sassy” which I never really understood that narrative either lol.

That's exactly what it is. Whole song is hard as f*** but they found a way to turn it into jokes about Drake being fruity. I don't even know sometimes.

  • Yatchy lmao.... The little boat... He's a goof, that should be me chillin with Drizzy, not a little boat. Yachty isn't even icey like papa pump.

Considering Yachty is 11 years younger, yeah. It’s cool to take inspiration from the youth in spots, had Yachty help work on Her Loss and they’re good friends, cool. But it seems like Yachty’s influence on him is becoming a bit much

It’s kinda overall though. Music wise, to me he was making the most mature music of his life from Take Care to IYRTITL you can just hear it in the music

Image wise I believe he was more mature in the past too. Around 2018-2019 he seemed the most mature in the way he chose aesthetics and image
    For example:

But something shifted to where he changed and started doing anything like what it is now

And before anyone gets pissed off, this is not to say he shouldn’t be allowed to have fun or do what he wants. I’m pointing out that it seems like he cared to uphold a sort of “standard” of his image in the past and now he just doesn’t care anymore

As a stan I do wish he went to a more “matured” image as he’s getting older and not feel like it’s the other way around though

It is what it is though, regardless he’s cemented as my GOAT

Every goat has a mid life crisis

Jay Z is still doing his basquiat cosplay

    Good comment overall tho

I love how nail polish is what broke the camel's back and not the "I'm a 40 y/o gangster/shooter that may or may not have gotten a prominent black young rapper killed for joking about my mom but tee hee hee hee i'm just rapping" type bars lmao

yeah - the streets are rough out here - you mess with a dude's mother than you better be ready for the consequences dawg

Y’all just reach for this now because he barely even mentioned his nails or said anything about him being gay for that

But since painting nails is typically seen as feminine and you know it you instantly try to use homophobia as the defense against any and everything said about him lol

People being themselves is too far gone now???

Drake is a damn near 40 year old man. That was never into or appeared to be into the gay h****feminine s***.

    Yes. It’s entirely too far.

I’m only 24 and the idea that i gotta “dress mature” in my 30’s is insane to me . I’ll dress business for business events but other then that the idea of not painting my nails black or taking out my hoop earrings for the sake of appearing a way is mad corny to me

    30 year old checking in

You’re good man, you don’t have to dress a certain way and no one will care

As long as you’re a decent person you’ll be straight
