Scientifically it takes up to 12 hours after eating for your body to start running on fat.
So if you go 16 hours a day without eating then there are 4 hours of the day where your body is running on fat.
This way you will burn more fat.
It’s just diet though you’ll still have to exercise and what not.

At first it might be hard to acclimate but after awhile you’ll realize you have more energy from not eating as much.

Yeah, I do it for energy/focus though.
It's amazing, especially if you get good sleep and have a good diet.
yeah i did it with some 48 hour water fasting as well, dropped 30 lbs.
them longer term fasts like 48 hours got me interested. apparently its some wild benefits behind doing fasts like that
It's good temporarily and you may like the effects but at the end of the day if you're doing it for weight you should just count calories and learn about nutrition
Water fasts are ridiculous though.. no s*** you'd lose weight on them, your body carries so much water, you'll put it back on in no time
never really fasted
i mean i stop eating couple hours before sleep and then sleep
but mainly to give my digestive tract a break
