    I do a 20/4 split for the most part. 20 hours fasting, 4 hour window where I eat my one meal for the day and maybe some healthy snacks.

    I’ve been doing IF for like a decade without even trying tbh. Never really ate 3 meals a day in the first place.

    holy s***, do you have energy all day or nah?

    It's good temporarily and you may like the effects but at the end of the day if you're doing it for weight you should just count calories and learn about nutrition

    Water fasts are ridiculous though.. no s*** you'd lose weight on them, your body carries so much water, you'll put it back on in no time

    You have to count calories to drop weight anyways IF and Fasting are not diets it’s just a structure of eating.

    Great for short-term benefits and for discipline.

    But doing it longer than 6-months and you’re not going to see hardly any improvements

    Same I do the 20/4 too

    Been doing it for almost 5 years now. It helps me cause I’m known to snack when I’m bored so this cuts that out

    1 meal and few snacks is all I have now

    I did lose a lot of weight but I also run a mile every day

    Yeah it's the most effective way of losing weight
    It's great because it limits the timeframe in which you can consume food, which results in you filling your stomach faster, but at the same time, conditioning your mind and body to go certain amounts of time without eating. You end up not only losing weight but adapting to the lost weight, and once you get the hang of it, it's genuinely like cheating.
    Out of all weight loss methods I've ever tried, this is the easiest one, bar none. Now whenever I'm a bit overweight I just vibe for a bit cause I can truly lose the excess weight whenever I want and it's only a matter of time until I go ham on fasting again no pun inteded
