Absolutely not. The records themselves were fun and we got a classic beef record (Not Like Us) and probably Drake’s greatest rapping performance in his entire career (Family Matters), but both fan bases have been insufferable throughout it all. Honestly, maybe I’m online too much, but the cock riding has turned me off to the entire thing. Just wanna move past it at this point
There will be new things to look forward to
An underestimated aspect of this beef is what means for the next generation
It depresses me that Baka is still around
And 13 sexual offender tags in a single house
LLF soon
I mean if we get into it there is no one at their stature who will ever beef like that again. Or at least rap has to kinda restart to imagine someone in the mainstream under 25 being lyrically strong ever again
Even the street rappers who try to be a little different theyre so much raised after Migos 21 thug etc that the fundamentals have been lost its not even disrespect from the youth anymore. Someone 18 rn was born in 06 and just started probably paying attention fr to rap 2018-2024 lol
We’re entering unfamiliar territory and that was the marker of an end of an era but hopefully the kids checking out both their work from the beginning births new legends

The shocking thing is that there really isn't anyone in the "mainstream" right now who is under 25 unless you count fringe cases like Yeat and YoungBoy, who I'd consider to have large cult fanbases.
The genre's class of hitmakers are the oldest they've ever been and the fact the "Big 3" is still on top pushing 40 years old is actually pretty bad news. It's been years since Pop, X, Juice etc. died, someone needs to step up and fill the void
Yo....ya'll really do only listen to 10 rappers lol.
But, on a serious note, the beef was an iconic moment but a beef shouldn't dictate the quality of hip hop as a whole like I said before.
We need more quality albums at the end of the day. We already had Schoolboy drop a top tier album this year. Some would say We Don't Trust You was quality too.
But rap shouldn't be dependent on beef and diss tracks to get people to check out the music. And I think labels are going to exploit that to try to sell records sadly.
C6 is still allegedly coming out. And Kendrick might drop too.
10 rappers
Mentions wayne and kendrick at the end
Make it make sense
And 13 sexual offender tags in a single house
I dont think that was real bro
Wayne
Hov
Ye
all still dropping this year most likely so I’m looking forward to it
I only came back here after 4 years for the beef. But I don’t think it’s over, we may get more shots on each of their next projects, which may open everything back up
The subliminals may come back I don't think it will reignite the beef, we've had subliminals for a decade already and only a full verse might bring back the diss tracks

We got news of jay dropping?
We got news of jay dropping?
There was a BTS photo of a music video he shot earlier this year so that’s the assumption
Alright Tierra Whack or Noname then
I liked Tierra's project, but this ain't it.
the big 3 will live on forever but holy s*** where are the KIDS at
debut stars don’t give a flying F*** about barring out or crafting generation-defining albums. as time goes on it becomes more and more obvious, that breed died alongside pop smoke, juice, and X
at this point we’re gonna need a cultural reset on the level of rakim before things get back on track in the mainstream
(I was thinking the youth would feel invigorated by kendrick’s lyricism but nah it looks like they just moved on ngl. niggas still hyped for Ian and nettspend. it might be over brehs)

realistically rap doesnt pay bills, one of the biggest modern 'rap stars' (ice spice) is yet to have any kind of album out and gets paid through media appearances and remixes
